Written from Mount Shasta, Northern California
If you’ve ever stood at the edge of a forest, pressed your bare feet into the earth, and felt a profound shift inside you, you already understand, on some level, how deeply we are connected to the planet.
Most people are familiar with the concept of chakras in the human body: seven energy centers that run from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, each one governing a different aspect of our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. What fewer people know is that planet Earth has its own chakra system, and that certain sacred sites around the world correspond directly to these planetary energy centers.
We’ve spent years traveling to these places. We’ve meditated at them, studied them, and felt their energy firsthand. Recently, while sitting in the quiet power of Mount Shasta in Northern California, we received a channeled message from Mother Earth herself, one she wanted us to share with the world.

In this video, we explore the seven chakras of Planet Earth, Mount Shasta’s role as the Earth’s root chakra, the Crystal Heart of Mother Earth, and the spiritual significance of sacred sites around the world.
Yes, though the structure looks quite different from ours.
In the human body, the seven chakras are stacked vertically along the spine in a single, aligned column. Earth’s chakras don’t follow that neat pattern. Instead, they are spread across different geographic locations around the globe, each one anchoring a specific energetic frequency into the physical landscape.
These aren’t arbitrary locations. They are ancient, sacred sites that have drawn spiritual seekers, indigenous peoples, and energy workers for thousands of years. Long before the modern language of chakras existed, these places were recognized as special—as alive, powerful, and worthy of reverence.
When you visit these sites, the reason they “feel” different isn’t just your imagination. It is a tangible energetic shift. In many cases, you are stepping directly into one of Earth’s main energy centers.
Before we walk through each individual chakra site, we want to share the core insights that came through during our time at Mount Shasta. The message centered on three distinct pillars:
When you visit any natural space, and especially sacred sites, treat it with the same care and reverence you would give a temple, a church, or a place of worship. That means not leaving waste behind, not disturbing the natural habitat, and entering with pure intention. These places are not mere tourist attractions; they are living, conscious spaces.
Grounding isn’t complicated, and it doesn’t require a complex ritual. Sitting directly on the soil, walking barefoot in nature, or pressing your palms against the bark of a tree creates a real, physical loop between your energy field and the Earth’s. While you can ground yourself from anywhere (even from your bed or a chair), coming to places like Mount Shasta, where the earth’s root chakra energy pulses powerfully, makes the process deeper, faster, and more transformative.
This was stated plainly: Mother Earth is a living, conscious being with a heart, a literal heart made of diamond crystal at the core of the planet. This crystalline center is described as holding a frequency that supports and nourishes life across the planet. It cannot be touched or accessed by any human or external being; if it were ever reached and disturbed, life as we know it would end. It is the most protected space in existence.
Mount Shasta has a particularly strong, direct energetic pipeline to that crystal core. It is why grounding here feels entirely different from anywhere else on earth.
What it governs: Security, stability, physical connection to Earth, ancestral energy.
The Energy: Mount Shasta rises out of the flat Northern California landscape like an immovable pillar of light. According to the channeled message we received from Mother Earth, Mount Shasta was among the first lands to emerge from the waters following the last Ice Age, making it one of Earth’s most ancient and energetically significant locations and the first habitat for all different kinds of beings.
Spiritual Work: For deep grounding and clearing traumas, especially ancestral traumas held in the root or sacral chakras, there is no better place on the planet. The trees, the soil, and the lakes surrounding the mountain are all conscious, and they actively assist in removing blockages. Because you carry the energy of your ancestors through your DNA, you may hold traumas you aren’t even consciously aware of. Mount Shasta helps flush these out, leaving you rooted and secure.
What it governs: Creativity, emotions, sensuality, life-force energy.
The Energy: Sitting high in the Andes at 3,800 meters above sea level, Lake Titicaca straddles the border between Peru and Bolivia. In traditional Incan mysticism, it is considered the birthplace of the sun and the origin point of life force.
Spiritual Work: As Earth’s sacral chakra, it holds an incredible, swirling amount of creation energy. Visiting here stirs deep emotions and creative impulses that may have gone dormant. We highly recommend staying at least two nights here; the energy is immense and takes time to settle into your energetic body.
What it governs: Personal power, willpower, identity, transformation.
The Energy: Uluru (formerly known as Ayers Rock) rises intensely out of the flat, red center of Australia. For the Anangu people, the traditional custodians, this massive stone formation has been a sacred place of ceremony and law for over 30,000 years.
Spiritual Work: Uluru radiates a quiet, undeniable authority. It is a place that brings absolute clarity regarding your life’s purpose and personal power. In alignment with respecting sacred lands, visitors are asked to honor the traditional custodians’ request not to climb the rock, but rather to walk its base, meditate, and listen.
What it governs: Love, compassion, connection, emotional healing.
The Energy: While Stonehenge is more famous, its neighbor Avebury is a massive Neolithic stone circle so large that an entire village sits inside it.
Spiritual Work: Avebury represents the point of connection between your individual heart and the heart of Mother Earth. The energy here is warm, enveloping, and incredibly gentle. It allows emotional armor that you’ve carried for years to soften and dissolve without effort, making it the ultimate destination for deep emotional healing.
What it governs: Communication, truth, expression, connection to higher dimensions.
The Energy: The Great Pyramids of Giza sit precisely at the threshold where Earth’s energy begins its transition from the earthly to the cosmic.
Spiritual Work: Just as the human throat chakra is the bridge between the heart (feeling) and the mind (perception), Giza acts as a connector to upper dimensions and other realms. Meditating near the three main pyramids offers immediate, clear access to higher consciousness and spiritual transmission. It is the place to go to find your voice and speak your ultimate truth.
What it governs: Intuition, inner vision, perception beyond the physical.
The Energy: Unlike the other six fixed chakras, Earth’s third eye chakra rotates and shifts locations over time, following long energetic cycles. For the past several years, it has been anchored in Glastonbury, England, a mystical region steeped in Arthurian legend and Celtic mythology, located right between Stonehenge and Avebury.
Spiritual Work: Glastonbury Tor hums with a highly potent visionary energy. Standing at its summit opens up your higher perception and psychic awareness. However, keep in mind that the third eye chakra moves; it may shift to a completely different part of the world in the next 5 to 10 years.
What it governs: Divine connection, enlightenment, cosmic consciousness.
The Energy: Mount Kailash is a peak so sacred to multiple world religions (including Hinduism and Buddhism) that it has never been climbed. Instead, pilgrims complete a rigorous 52-kilometer circumambulation around its base.
Spiritual Work: The crown chakra connects directly to the highest dimensions. The energetic vortexes here are far more powerful than those found in Sedona or even Mount Shasta. When we traveled there, spending four continuous days in a car driving 17 to 18 hours a day from Lhasa, we should have been completely exhausted. Yet, the moment we arrived, we felt zero fatigue. We were entirely fresh, vibrant, and energetic. The crown chakra operates completely outside the ordinary rules of physical exhaustion.
